The Cliffs of Moher undulate their way along Ireland's western Atlantic coast. Although these cliffs rise hundreds of feet above the sea, the Atlantic's salty spray may spew up high up over their tops as the ocean's waves crash relentlessly against their bases on a stormy day. The wind this day was so powerful that it took all the strength of the heaviest and strongest person to stand upright against its force. The rain "fell" almost sideways and the wind chilled all the way to the very center of your bones. But then, I hope you already knew that, just by looking at the painting.
